RETURNS TO CBS FOR A NEW TELEVISION MOVIE
"WALKER, TEXAS RANGER: TRIAL BY FIRE"

Chuck Norris reprises his role as Texas Ranger Cordell Walker in WALKER, TEXAS RANGER: TRIAL BY FIRE, a new television movie that has begun production in Dallas, Texas for broadcast on the CBS Television Network. Series stars Sheree J. Wilson (Alex Cahill), Judson Mills (Francis Gage) and Clarence Gilyard (James Trivette) also return for the movie in which Walker must try to find a teenager who is on the run from a dangerous crime syndicate, and also clear an innocent colleague who is framed for murder. Janine Turner plays a forensics expert.  The movie also stars Janine Turner.

Synopsis:  A missile guidance component inadvertently falls into the hands of a 13-year-old boy who becomes the target of a crime syndicate determined to recover it. When Walker responds to a message left by the boy's father asking for help, he goes to their home and discovers that the father has been brutally murdered. The boy shows up while Walker and Gage are at the murder scene and, when they attempt to remove him from the house, they are also attacked. The boy manages to escape but remains the target of the men whose only mission is to recover the key component which gives missiles 100 percent accuracy in hitting a target.  Meanwhile, forensics expert Kay McCord (Janine Turner) is investigating the murder of a woman who she saw leave a local bar with Ranger Rhett Harper (Andre Kristoff). Though Harper fervently denies any knowledge of the crime, D.A. Alex Cahill is forced to arrest him. Walker believes in Harper's innocence and vows to help clear his name. Texas Ranger Trivette is given the opportunity to train recruits at CIA Headquarters in Quantico, VA.  

During its eight season-run from 1993 to 2001, "Walker, Texas Ranger" was Saturday's top show, peaking in the 1995-96 season with an average audience of 19.4 million viewers.

WALKER, TEXAS RANGER: TRIAL BY FIRE is being produced by Paramount Network Television. Chuck Norris, Aaron Norris and Leslie Greif ("Walker, Texas Ranger") are the executive producers. Aaron Norris also serves as the director from a script by John Lansing & Bruce Cervi ("Walker, Texas Ranger").

Watch for repeats of Sheree in the Hallmark Made-for-Television Movie, GAME TIME, as part of their mystery wheel series, entitled MYSTERY WOMAN, starring Kellie Martin.  The movie aired on Sunday, Aug, 21, 2005 - watch for repeat broadcasts on the Hallmark Channel.  The movie is sponsored by Kraft, and they are airing it with less commercials.

Fifth Installment of Franchise, “Game Time,” Premieres August 21

          When a video game creator is found standing over the body of a famous mystery writer, Samantha (Kellie Martin) is left to sort out the pieces in the latest installment of the Hallmark Channel Mystery Movie franchise Mystery Woman, “Game Time,” which premieres Sunday, August 21 (7/6c).  Mystery Woman also stars Nina Siemaszko (“The West Wing”), Clarence Williams III (“Mod Squad”) and Casey Sander (“Grace Under Fire”).  Martin, who received an Emmy® Award nomination for her performance in the acclaimed series “Life Goes On,” returns to the scene of the crime for the second season as Samantha Kinsey, who inherited her uncle’s “Mystery Woman” bookstore and uses the thrillers to solve baffling real-life crimes.
          Helping Samantha navigate the precarious twists and turns of her new avocation is Philby (Williams III) a former secret agent with a cloak-and-dagger past who is now the enigmatic manager of the bookstore.  Samantha also gets assistance from her best friend Cassie Hillman (Siemaszko), a savvy assistant D.A. whose access to inside information proves invaluable to Sam’s investigations.  The town’s lawman, Chief Connors (Sander) wishes Samantha would stick to her books and keep her nose out of his criminal investigations.
            In “Game Time,” Samantha sets out to solve the mysterious murder of acclaimed mystery writer Donald Fiske, who is found dead shortly after a rare public appearance at her Mystery Woman Bookstore. She finds that the truth, however, comes with an unhealthy dose of danger. As she unravels the mystery, though, the clues indicate that the killing was not committed by Fiske’s troubled son, his angry ex-wife or an unhinged fan but was, in fact, motivated by a computer game potentially worth millions of dollars.

Synopsis:  Samantha is thrilled when she finally gets the reclusive mystery writer Donald Fiske to agree to a book signing in her store. But when Mr. Fiske is found dead, Samantha and the team must solve his latest mystery, his own murder.
